At my old retain job, it was stated in the rules that “Radios/Tape decks WITH headphones were not allowed.” The interesting thing is that this rule was specific, giving the loop hole that a radio/tape deck that blared out to everyone with speakers was perfectly alright. And, this loop hole was utilized, too.
Oh, yea…the company used a tape deck with personal head phones to train all the employees on job tasks. Talk about ignoring their own rules to get the job done.
