Back when I worked at the Camera Shop, there was a man who came in to buy a camera. He gives me a credit card. The card is not signed. “Can I see an ID sir?” I politely ask. You would think I asked politely asked him to blow me with the way he reacted. Needless to say he stormed out of the store without buying the camera. All of the salesmen assumed he was a credit card thief (mainly because he left the card on the counter and it had a females name on it and he never came back for it) But the customer who was next in line approached the counter and said, “Geeze, I would never get that pissed if someone was looking out for protecting my identity.”
I have always thought that myself. If you read the merchant agreement from the credit card companies, a merchant is *NOT* supposed to accept an unsigned card. Still can’t convince them though.
Good stuff, but just one thing, it should be spelled “your” in the first panel. “You’re” is “you are”.
Thanks, it’s fixed now. Did I mention I had to go to first grade twice?
