Actually, at Wally’s, the sign may say ‘TOASTER’, but the $$$ was in front of the vacuum. Get a manager involved and that’s going to be a $39.99 vacuum. Oh, the shame of how the game is played.
I’ve lost this game a few times. Especially when a woman saw some items on a peg with an old inventory sticker behind the blank tag holder. Not five dollars/cents. It was Dept. 5. She got management involved. She argued the items down to 5 cents AND BRAGGED to me about KNOWING that she could do so.
Things aren’t that bad here, but you still get idiots trying to say they got an item from a place that was the wrong price. If I see a CSM in my department, I ask what they need and if I don’t know the price off hand, I can find it and almost every time, we don’t give them their version of the price. Makes me feel special that I can piss someone off remotely.
see, THIS is why there are sites like peopleofwalmart.com. morons.
