I’ve been down this road with customers before. After the third time of checking, they’ll decide to ask you to phone the other store…… Who’ll take ten minutes to answer……. Then another ten minutes to check……. Only to reply that they’ve got one left.
And that’s when the customer asks to see the manager……… Who’s in a meeting………. So you can’t disturb him……. Then the customer gets angry at you.
But you know what this has happened to me before, I was at Staples and the guy said they were completely sold out and I was standing there looking at the other usb sticks he comes back out with a whole box of them and goes “HEY look what I found!” hahaha but I was happy to get the stick so I didn’t mind.
