Just started work in a new store (just opened today) and this comic is now essentially my life, particulary today’s comic.

    Well done! :D

Traditionally this is what my break room looks like at this point but we’ve been very fortunate this year and have been able to handle the freight we’ve been recieving….so far.

“…that ends our tour of the break room.”

    Golden. Pure golden!!!

I’ve worked in three retails. First one…erm…was so small, there really wasn’t a break room. They stuffed freight into the private restroom, instead.

Second place got so desperate that the freight eventually went ABOVE the break room. (And, other spots.) Sometimes, some of the heavier items would get knocked off the not-so-sturdy wooden grid and come crashing down through the ceiling tiles. (I’m so very glad that didn’t harm…or kill anyone.)

Third place just set thousands of dollars worth of items into the back street and posted a watcher. (Kind of like a guard. Only, no weapons and one out of a dozen times had a walkie talkie…I occasionally joked that I would gladly ‘watch’ the truck pull up, take what they wished to and observe it driving off…) *sigh*
