My branch has been known to be forgiving in the past about holidays. We all get a choice. Work Thanksgiving and get Christmas off…or vice versa.
At least, there is a substitute option for the Fourth of July. We can take an extended break and watch the fireworks from the parking lot. It’s almost as close as anyone else can get to the display, anyhow.

Our store is open July 4, but it’s a paid holiday whether you work or not plus time and 1/2 if you do.
